The Yes Generation

From the Silent Generation, all the way to Generation Beta in 2025, each new generation earns a title derived from its perceived nature. And yet, for those who have the eyes to see, there is a new generation emerging under the radar: The Yes Generation.

The Yes Gen, though, has no specific biological age attached to it. Any age can be a part of the Yes Gen, as it calls for those young in spirit rather than just those young in age.

There is so much in the world we live in to say no to. And yet, there is a magnificent wide-open window of opportunity, through which the future shines, giving passage to a new evolutionary wave that brings with it new possibilities for humans to engage with the reason why we are here on Earth.

The Yes Gen are those of us embracing the incredible scope of new self-discovery possibilities. Yes to the portent of a bright future. Yes to the persistent search for constructive ways forward. Yes to small actions that make a positive difference in a multitude of contexts. Yes to decency. Yes to the wondrous essence of live and let live…

The signal and tunes of change are in the air, engendering new awakenings to the significance of the opportunity of being alive at these times of transition, with a nudge to be one’s own person, to have one’s own mind about what is true, what is real, and what is of no relevance to humanity’s spiritual continuance.

The Yes Generation lives the motto ‘less is more’. Its prime concern lies with being a media of appearance for the future, in small doses, because we can only receive and enact in small, inside of the magical unfolding of new discoveries of what a human is naturally capable of, energised by the incoming evolutionary impulse.

There is a special kind of alignment running through the Yes Generation to the intangible dimensions of living – to the dance of call and response between the human and the unseen worlds. Knowing that we are not alone, and that there are higher dimensions occupied by supreme intelligences ready to assist the human in the process of keeping in track with where evolution is moving to today, in its incessant non-linear leaps forward.

The Yes Generation exercise the freedom of exploring what it means to be the unique individual that one is, in a not self-centred way, while being part of an emerging network of like-minded individuals, intrinsic to which is a unifying wish to create a clean space for the future, where lies the hope for the continuance of the human opportunity, knowing that nothing can be guaranteed in a world harbouring an attitude of unconstrained entitlement to all and everything.

The Yes Generation says yes to being human and to being on a discovery journey of what this means, not intellectually, but through tangible states of being. And for those who are yet to be born to find a world in a better shape than that which we have inherited.

The Yes Generation says yes to care that is harmonic to the kind of care that gave birth to the human opportunity, and to how it shapes how we think and behave.

The Yes Gen says yes to being human first and whatever else second, never the other way around; and to the sharing of the special flavours that each culture brings to the table, with difference spicing up human engagement rather than being a source of irrational conflicts.

The Yes Generation says yes to the feeling-knowing of the existence of a greater cause of life and existence, and to the humility in the face of incomprehensible greatness. This is not a fact given to intellectual debate. Whoever feels and knows it, lives it. Those who do, connect in seemingly incidental ways.

And perhaps most importantly, through the act and process of what it says yes to, it creates the space for the powers of change, knowing that it is not humans who can engender the change, but what humans are open to and create the space for that will.

Being human, the Yes Gen embodies the spirit of not being perfect, each in their struggle to be their best, each with their good and bad hair days. And yet, that which the human is joined to seems to not mind – perhaps even love in its own way – the human imperfection.

And… you may be one of those without knowing that you are…

There is so much more to say, to open up, at many levels – from its philosophy to its applied natural technologies. But we shall leave it here for now.

Please note: The term ‘The Yes Generation’ in the context of this Fulcrum Insight has been coined by the writer.

With best wishes,
