In today’s world, chaos is a constant presence, affecting every aspect of living. To navigate this ever-expanding disorder, it is vital to deepen our self-awareness and gain insight into the core reasons behind chaos. By understanding these fundamental causes, we become better equipped to respond thoughtfully and maintain a sense of direction amidst uncertainty.
This Fulcrum Insights consists of four elements:
- A core location
- The new epoch
- Loose cannons insanity
- The isle of sanity
A Core Location
Life was never intended to unfold into the mess it is in the 21st century. Being an intentional Creational manifestation, both life and planet Earth are sacred, yet they have been disrupted and exploited by forces that have no place in human affairs. Our purpose on Earth is to grow and evolve; to embark on journeys of discovery, inspiration, learning, and spiritual awakening. Humanity is meant to thrive, not to plunder, pollute, and destroy the very ecology that hosts and supports the human opportunity.
The New Epoch
Change is in the air, and new energies now surround us. Imagine the caffeine in your morning coffee gradually increasing each day. This metaphor reflects how the energies impacting Earth are steadily intensifying and affecting human process. Humans are spiritual beings living in physical bodies. We nourish ourselves with physical food for physical maintenance, and refined energies to enable spiritual growth.
These compounding forces power our intentions and actions a bit more each day. Through the process of purposive personal development, the human system is made to grow and evolve in its capacity to handle compounding powers. But what occurs when an individual or a collective generates destructive intentions disconnected from the humility of being human? The evidence is visible in today’s headlines – extremes fuel further extremes. This process is only beginning as we enter a period of accelerating change. Such energies empower all aspects of life: good, bad, and everything in between.
Loose Cannons Insanity
Now consider the case of those occupying positions of authority who impose destructive forms of insanity on their domains. Some wielding weapons of mass destruction, making their rule unchallengeable. These reckless individuals act with impunity, sparking conflicts and inflicting immense suffering on countless lives and pristine ecosystems.
And the worst thing is that some of them have a vision for the future of human life on Earth. How insane is this? A disconnected, mentally ill mind conjuring a tyrannical vision for a ‘world order’. While wreaking havoc, their bloated ego not comprehending the fact that what they think and do is of no consequence in the bigger picture of world affairs.
And then, there is so much more, such the chaos born out of greed throughout the ages. What is being alluded to here is how human behaviour disrupts the organic flow of natural human process, thereby eroding the foundation upon which authentic human progress depends, greatly contributing to the absence of firm grounding in what truly matters.
In the face of such pervasive irrationality, feelings of powerlessness can arise. How do we reconcile the immense potential for human evolution with the disruptive presence of forces hostile to the sanctity of life? Amidst this tension, the promise of a bright future endures, encouraging those attuned to it to draw closer, to remain true to themselves, and to resist becoming instruments of another’s distorted agenda.
The Isle of Sanity
How, then, do we cope with a world shaped by irrational minds? The answer is both simple and profound: each of us is blessed with the birth-right freedom of choice to cultivate an isle of sanity within ourselves. By doing so, our lives become safe harbours amid the turbulent seas of unpredictability. The 21st century is a transitional, anomalous period—one that will eventually be overtaken by the unstoppable flow of what is now raining upon us from the universe.
The path forward does not demand exceptional intellectual brilliance. Rather, it calls for those willing to embrace new perspectives, and to open space for a future unburdened by the weight of the past.
The future of leadership arises from within, in how we lead ourselves, passing the button from one to another, depending on who can best fulfill the need of the moment, inside of an atmosphere of the beautiful harmonies of rapidly shrinking egos, with the undertones of growing self-responsibility and accountability.
